Amiibo Collection Thus Far!

Hi everyone! Long time no see! Sorry I’ve been quite busy finishing up school, IRL, streaming and such. I’m back now though and with a fun light post to start with!

As you can tell from the collection in the picture above I REALLY love amiibos! I feel that Nintendo did a great job with creating and customizing these figures! They’re fun to collect, gorgeous to look at with great detail, and also usable in a wide variety of their games across different platforms. It all started with Super Smash Brothers for Wii U and 3DS and has branched out to include amiibos from many of their other games and 3rd party companies have hopped on the bandwagon with it also!

As you can see from the different pictures, I have quite a good amount of amiibos (nowhere near complete), but we are getting there! I’m currently sitting at 86 total amiibos! 😀

I have 46/62 Smash Amiibos, 6/17 Super Mario Amiibos, 2/2 Super Mario Bros 30th Amiibos, 0/3 Mario Odyssey Amiibos (not released), 15/16 Animal Crossing Amiibos, 1/1 Chibi Robo Amiibos, 2/4 Fire Emblem Amiibos, 0/4 Kirby Amiibos, 7/17 Legend of Zelda Amiibos, 0/1 Mega Man Gold Amiibo, 0/2 Metroid Amiibos (not released), 0/6 Monster Hunter Amiibos, 0/1 Pikmin Amiibos, 1/1 Shovel Knight Amiibos, 3/11 Splatoon Amiibos, 3/5 Wooly World Amiibos, 0/4 Skylanders Amiibos.

As you can see, there’s lots of amiibos that I have and don’t have. I will post more pictures of my collection as it updates and gets even bigger! My dream is to one day collect them all 🙂

I use gaming shops, GamestopAmazonNintendo

Let me hear and see your collections in posts and we can share about our favorites and which ones we do and don’t have !

Path of Exile Stream #1

This game is fantastic! It’s like a diabl0-clone but better! It has tons of content and is more challenging than Diablo 3 in my opinion! I’m a Diablo fanboy at heart but I’ve been upset with the lack of content from Blizzard. This game is definitely a refresher and is a great homage to Diablo 2. I’m currently playing the new season called Legacy and I’m doing Standard instead of hardcore. Currently level 34 using a Tornado Shot Assassin build.

The amount of areas to explore, the leveling 1-100, the items, and more are all so unique! I also  enjoy that gems are abilities and requires more thinking! As does the passive skill tree which contains over 1000 nodes that you will probably only touch about 10% of with your build!

I’m still learning so please bare with me! I hope to do more streams and reviews of this game in the future for sure!

If you would like to watch me, follow me and give tips check my livestream out here on Twitch 😀 I’m playing right now! Trying to stream this game a lot and make it one of my main games so any support is much appreciated!

Thanks and see you out there Monster Squad!,

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Review

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Review

Since 1986, The Legend of Zelda series has taken gamers by storm and won over their hearts time and time again. This classic game series is still performing well and making its mark to this day. The newest entry, Breath of the WIld, is performing spectacularly. All throughout the world people are raving about this new title as it made its debut on the Nintendo Switch on March 3rd, as well as the Wii U.

An open-world Zelda game is somewhat of a refreshing feeling to the franchise. The ability to craft and upgrade armor, cook, have items break, explore and perform side quests, discover shrines, and more is what makes this game so enjoyable. Did I mention that the map is GINORMOUS as well? It’s one of the biggest, if not the biggest Zelda maps that I have ever seen.

The landscapes, terrain, biomes and music make this game quite beautiful. I could spend hours just sittting at the top of a mountain gazing out into the distance and listening to the music of the game….well until I died of frostbite that is…but you get the point! The dynamic time and weather make the game enjoyable from many different perspectives too. The vast amount of different types of items and enemies are a welcoming presence to the beloved series as  well. I enjoy being able to have multiple types of melee and ranged weapons, as well as runes to use at my disposable. It’s more fun than having that generic “bow” or “sword” for the entirety of the game.

The amiibo support for the game is quite good too. Using all of the different Legend of Zelda amiibos allows you to unlock different in-game items from weapons, food, clothing, Epona, and more! Did I mention Epona?!?! Needless to say, this game has some awesome features to it. It also rewards players for exploring in the way of discovering shrines, camps, treasure chests in more in the search of upgrades and rare items. The shrines are what allow players to upgrade either their stamina or increase their heart space.

I’ve only played Zelda for a short time compared to others, but with that time I haven’t been able to put it down. It’s a game that will suck you in and will make you want to keep playing until it is over. The vast majority of content in this game is also welcomed too. It has a huge amount of hours that can be sunk into it with just exploring alone! Throw in side-quests and main-quests and you have yourself a bad-ass Legend of Zelda game that we deserve!

There’s so much to do in this video-game that it almost becomes overwhelming at times, but in a good way. If I’m not out fighting enemies, I’m exploring shrines or finding rupees to upgrade and or sell for better gear and equipment. The fact that I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, under no restrictions is what I love most about this new open-world game from Nintendo. I feel that they have done a fantastic job with it!

Available on both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch, this game is selling well all throughout the world. If you would like to pick it up, I suggest heading to any game retailer such as Gamestop, Toys-R-Us, or Best Buy. Here is a link to Gamestop’s website with Zelda for sale. I would suggest this game to both newcomers of the series, and die-hard fans as well. I feel that this new take on Zelda will become a fan favorite in the near future and I hope that Nintendo continues to make games like this for the series in the future!

Verdict -> 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Stream Suggestions?

What would you all like me to stream in terms of MMO’s and RPG’s? I’m also thinking of starting some POE for sure. If I can do anything to improve my stream that would help me greatly. I appreciate any positive and constructive criticism.

For Honor Review

For Honor

For Honor, a game set in a time where Vikings, Samurai, and Knights battle for supremacy in an everlasting struggle of power and land. This game has brought about a new kind of play. It’s many different modes of play, awesome customization, and genuine historical attributes make for an exciting game right out of the box. For Honor involves hours of customization options from the color of the armor, to the paint and tattoos, gender and more. You can also change your abilities or “feats” and change the type of equipment that you wear for increased bonuses within the game itself.

Having a separate story mode section of the game is an amazing feature as well. It tells the story of how the rift between these three factions came to be. Each of the 3 chapters has 6 sub-levels to make for a decent offline mode for a game that focuses primarily on multiplayer and dueling.

Of the game modes, there are Dominion, Duel, Brawl, Skirmish, and Elimination. These are all different types of play and allow for a wide variety of interaction between gamers. These game modes involve 1v1’s, 2v2’s, large scale battles that involve both NPC’s and the players to capture and hold territories, as well as classic Deathmatch style play. There’s much to do as the world map updates every six hours to show how factions are doing. You can deploy your own war assets to help your favorite faction advance and perform better in their overall ranking and ground that they control.

You can use any of the 12 individual heroes to take online no matter what faction. Each of the factions having four heroes to start with is a nice touch. I’ve also read that with the Season Pass and future DLC there are plans to add even more! These different heroes all have interesting styles of play and allow for players to change the way the game is played. They all have different abilities, stances, mechanics and more.

My personal favorite faction, the Knights, is a classic take on this historical piece of history. I enjoy playing as the agile Peacekeeper, which seems like a homage to Assassin’s Creed in a way. Of the other factions, I also enjoy the Samurai Orochi class. This is a very-skilled fighter with agile movements, range, and is just an overall fun class to play. Many of the feats for both the Orochi and Peacekeeper seem overpowered currently, however, I feel that Ubisoft has done a good job with making the classes balanced for each faction.

In my opinion, Ubisoft has done very well with this new IP and I’m sure that it will continue to do well. It is currently released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. With future DLC plans, a great playerbase, and hours of gameplay, this is a game that you will not want to miss out on!

I hope you enjoyed this review, positive criticism and feedback on how to improve is welcomed!

See you out there Monster Squad!

Black Desert Online Livestream Day #2

Hi all, here comes day #2 of my Black Desert Online streaming adventures! I’m now level 21 on my berzerker, level 21 on my warrior, and level 17 on my wizard! Going to be doing some more work on my berzerker today as I try to level him up! Hopefully we can get to level 30 today or maybe higher? The exp has started to slow down so now it doesn’t feel as rushed!

I’m really enjoying this MMORPG so far, it’s nice to switch between different MMO’s as I play many from WoW, SWTOR, FFXIV, ESO, and others! The combat in this game is quite good and I’m enjoying the Berzerker class for sure.

We also obtained a mount and I forgot that I had all this money on my account! I’m trying to learn about other aspects of the game as well such as gathering, life skills, guilds, and more!

Come hangout and watch as I stream on Twitch.Tv 🙂 Just click that link and you’ll be taken right to my livestream! Pop in, say hi, and if you enjoy me and the content, make sure to hit that follow button 🙂

Black Desert Online Livestream Day#1

Black Desert Online

Good Afternoon Everyone!

So today we dive back into the Korean MMORPG that I feel has taken the scene to new heights. I started to play this game and loved it at launch, but faded shortly after because my friends stopped playing. However, I recently moved my stream to be more RPG & MMORPG oriented. Therefore, I want to give this another shot. I also heard that they have added in naval battles, new classes, improvements and more! This game has a powerful community, and I would love to grow with this community as best as I can. I love MMO’s and even though I play a ton of them, I feel that they never get boring. The grind, the leveling, the thrill, the PvP, the PvE, the end-game, it’s all so much fun and always fresh!

The music & graphics in Black Desert Online are very polished. You can see fine details and the hard work that was put into this game amongst all the aspects that it offers. It is one of the most complex MMO’s that I’ve played to date and I cannot wait to dive back in!

Hope to see you guys on the stream today!
